When Nancy the Pot-bellied Pig arrived, she was one of the most terrified animals we had ever taken in. She was too afraid to leave her sister Annie Marie’s side and would squeal if they were separated. It took about a year before she relaxed to the point where we could touch her (helped a lot by receiving apples) and she still has moments of anxiety.
