visiting

Sad to think animals

want love, yet most just

get murdered.

POHP welcomes visitors who are interested in understanding the sentience of animals and exploring the 'no harm' vegan agenda in their own lives. Please note that we are not a 'petting farm' and are unable to accommodate those who are unwilling to discuss veganism.

Tours are by appointment only and may be arranged through our contacts page. Whilst we do not charge a set admission fee, visiting is by donation and all monies received go towards feed and care of the animals.

Large and small groups may be accommodated. We particularly welcome school parties who wish to discuss the vegan lifestyle as a component of social studies classes. However, we are unable to accommodate any dogs or pets.

All visitors should be aware that this is the animal's home and they must be treated with respect and kindness. Particularly during summer months, we do not restrict their movements and some are quite enthusiastic in their response to visitors. Those with younger children need to be aware that there are large, powerful animals who can be overwhelming for small ones.

When arriving for a visit, it is important to ensure that you are appropriately dressed for the weather, in clothes you don't mind getting dirty(!) with strong, closed toe footwear. The tour is all outdoors and there are no washroom facilities available.

Our tours are scheduled around our daily routine. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please cancel through the confirmation email sent to you.
